Diskusi yang berlangsung fokus pada upaya penurunan angka stunting dan program pemberdayaan perempuan yang telah sukses diimplementasikan di Bali.

Dalam pertemuan tersebut, Dinas Sosial P3A Bali memaparkan keberhasilan signifikan mereka dalam menekan angka stunting hingga mencapai 7 persen pada tahun 2023. Angka ini jauh di bawah rata-rata nasional yang berada di angka 21 persen. Beberapa strategi kunci yang diungkapkan, antara lain program pendidikan pernikahan wajib, sosialisasi kesehatan yang intensif, pemberdayaan perempuan melalui pelatihan pengolahan hasil pertanian, serta sinergi dan kolaborasi yang kuat antar berbagai stakeholder

Bali juga memiliki OPD khusus yang menangani isu sosial budaya serta pendekatan unik melalui desa adat dalam mendukung program-program pembangunan masyarakat. Pertukaran informasi ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan baru bagi Sulbar dalam merumuskan kebijakan yang lebih efektif.

Selanjutnya, rombongan melanjutkan pertemuan di Kantor Dinkes Bali. Kedatangan mereka diterima oleh dr. Komang yang mewakili Kepala Dinkes Bali. Pembahasan pada pertemuan kedua ini secara spesifik mengupas tuntas upaya penanggulangan stunting yang telah dilakukan oleh Dinkes Bali. Dalam paparannya, dr. Komang menyampaikan bahwa prevalensi stunting di Bali menunjukkan tren penurunan yang signifikan sejak tahun 2018 hingga 2023. Bahkan, beberapa kabupaten di Bali telah berhasil menekan angka stunting di bawah 20 persen. Berbagai program inovatif telah diimplementasikan, termasuk penggerakan aksi gizi di masyarakat, pemberdayaan ibu hamil untuk hidup sehat, dan pengoptimalan fungsi posyandu.
